Canyon Saturday Work
Greystone Homes retained Woodley, Wright & Lynn when the City of American
Canyon prohibited the builder from working on weekends when their permits clearly
allowed them to work. WWL was brought in to avoid a large confrontation with
the City and create a solution that maintained a constructive working relationship
between builder and City. Within six weeks, WWL created a program of noise
and dust control supported by the adjacent neighborhood that allowed the builder
to work weekends. |

Joint Construction Agreement
Greystone Homes retained Woodley, Wright & Lynn to negotiate a joint agreement
with Davidon Homes for the construction of a new roadway between their developments
in American Canyon. After both builders had struggled for several months to
reach agreement, WWL was able to bring the parties to agreement within 2 hours. |

The O’Brien Group retained Woodley, Wright & Lynn to work with the
City of Novato when the City chose to withhold Certificate of Occupancies on
homes that were completed and had families waiting to move in. After reviewing
the situation with the City, WWL development alternate approaches for the City
and the builder to work together and allowed the homeowners to move into their
homes. |

N. California Contractor Review
Prometheus Development was starting the construction starting the construction
of a seven story office building as was concerned that their new general contactor
needed extra guidance and attention. After reviewing the situation, the contractor’s
project manager was removed and a new set of controls and procedures were put
in place. This put the project back on schedule and under control. |
